Message: I bought a pair of Wolverine boots here yesterday, and they are going out of business, after 44 years. So sad as the pandemic and then the supply-chain shortages have done them in. Go in and support this family as they sell out there remaining inventory. The best brands of work boots.

Message: I love supporting locally owned business and they have a large selection of work boots. I also have a personal connection, the original building was my great-grandfathers general store. I have a family photo taken we think around 1910 of the family in front of the store, Broadway was a dirt road and the city was laying the trolley car tracks at the time to photo was taken. I love this place, and the ladies are great!

Message: This place is great. Shopkeeper was knowledgeable and friendly. I've never purchased cowboy boots before, and she answered any questions I had and told me how to care for them. Local shops are fantastic, and this place was certainly local. Not a huge selection, but what they have is fantastic.

Message: This is the way to shop for boots. So you walk in, and they have all the boots grouped by size, out of the box, on the shelf. You go to the section with your size and you can try on 20-30 different pair of boots, all out and ready to go. At most shoe stores you have to have the salesperson get them for you. And they’ll only have a few pair. Not here. I tried on probably 15 pair and found a pair that fit great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but not overly so. They were available, but didn’t hover. I don’t know why more stores aren’t like this.

Message: A mom and pop shop for work clothes and boots. The lady at the front was very polite and helpful. She help narrow down some great choices when I went in looking for a pair of boots for landscaping. I found some waterproof Timberlands there. I would definitely purchase from them again.
